Sometimes, you don’t want users sharing accounts or logging in on multiple devices at the same time. This can be for security, membership restrictions, or licensing reasons. WordPress by default allows multiple logins, so you need a way to restrict it.

There’s a way. Using “Single Active Session” feature in WPForce Logout plugin.

If you do not already have WPForce Logout Pro plugin, upgrade now.

To enable this feature, go to Users > WPForce Logout > Single Active Session. Here’s a screenshot for quick reference:

If you want to test the feature, log in to your site. Stay logged in. Openan incognito browser, and log in to your site again. You’ll be logged out from the other session.
